Atlantic County Boys Soccer for Sept. 28: No. 9 St. Augustine over Atlantic Tech

Alex Clark connected in the second half with a feed from Ryan Wieand as St. Augustine, No. 9 in NJ.com’s Top 20, won on the road, 1-0, over Atlantic Tech.

Mason Taylor received the shutout with three saves for St. Augustine (7-1-1), which outshot Atlantic Tech (2-4-1) by 18-4.

Oakcrest 1, Absegami 0

Jack O’Brien connected at 13 minutes in with a feed from Clayton Husta as Oakcrest won at home.

Oakcrest improves to 5-1-3 while Absegami is now 0-8.

Pleasantville 2, Ocean City 1

Christofer Maldonado tied the score at 1-1 while Anthony Perdomo knocked in the game-winner as Pleasantville rallied to win at home.

Ocean City (6-1-1) jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first half before Pleasantville (4-2-1) came back after the break to win.

Egg Harbor 4, Bridgeton 0

Gilmer Mendoza and Nathan Biersbach knocked in two goals apiece as Egg Harbor won at home.

Kevin Le received the shutout with two saves for Egg Harbor (7-2), which led 3-0 at halftime.

Bridgeton is now 0-7-1.

Mainland 0, Cedar Creek 0

Jeff Thomas stopped 11 shots for Mainland (2-6-1) while Kyle O’Connor made eight saves for Cedar Creek (3-5-2) but the game ended in a scoreless tie through two overtimes in Egg Harbor City.
